TensuraAiFix
by NotWindx
TensuraAIFix trims the heaviest AI goals in the Tensura Mobs family on the server, aiming to reduce pathfinding spikes and tick lag during large fights.
What it does
On a server, the mod removes Tensura's PassiveMeleeAttack goal at runtime, which is the main source of pathfinding load. Combat stays in place, and flying and special AI keep their behavior, since skills and abilities are left untouched and the mod does not clear whole AI selectors.
Mobs cloned by Tensura have their AI disabled to stop runaway CPU use. A safety sweep runs about every two seconds to remove expensive goals if another mod adds them back. Each mob is fixed once, tracked by an NBT flag and an in-memory session cache, so repeated work is avoided.
The mod is built for Forge 1.19.2 and has the latest file 1.0.1 for 1.19.2, released 2025-11-13. It runs on the server only, and singleplayer is covered through the integrated server, so clients need nothing. The code is under All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
Key features
Heavy goal removal
PassiveMeleeAttack goals are removed at runtime, cutting the pathfinding work that causes most spikes.
Combat and special AI preserved
Melee combat, flying and ability-driven behavior keep working, because only the costly goals are taken out.
Clone AI disabled
AI on clone entities is switched off, which stops the CPU load that builds up when many clones exist.
Periodic re-check
A sweep roughly every two seconds removes expensive goals again if another mod re-adds them.
Quiet startup summary
Logging stays minimal, and about ten seconds after startup a short line reports how many mobs were fixed.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Dense Tensura spawns
Servers with many Tensura mobs in one area can use the mod to reduce tick spikes during large fights.
Who it’s for: Server owners running Tensura Mobs on Forge 1.19.2 who see lag from pathfinding during big battles or dense spawns. Players on a single-player world get the same effect through the integrated server.
