Stacking Potion lets potions of the same type share one inventory slot, up to a maximum stack of 16 per slot.

What it does

Potions of the same type stack together in a single inventory slot, with a maximum stack size of 16, which frees up space in the player's inventory. A Description datapack controls which potion types can be carried in stacks at this size. Server owners install it on the server, and players do not need the mod to join.

The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and also as a data pack, for game versions 1.21 – 26.2. Files are released under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.

Questions

Does Stacking Potion need to be installed on the client?

No. Only the server needs the mod to run the stacking, and a player may still add it, but joining a server without it is not blocked.
