Slinky N' Slimy brings a caecilian, a slimy amphibian-style animal, into Fabric worlds with breeding, eggs and new drops.
What it does
The caecilian is a slimy friend that lives in tropical habitats and lurks underground, where it is only rarely seen. Four variants exist. One of them is bred from two parents above Y128, another comes from breeding between Y128 and the surface, a third spawns under Y32, and the final one is obtained through a separate route. Eggs can be found in jungle temple chests and in dispensers.
Caecilians dig up suspicious sand, and suspicious sand can be fed fermented spider eye to change what it yields. A few new armor trims are given this way. Fermented spider eye is therefore needed both to feed the animals and to work the sand, so spider eyes should be kept in stock.
The mod runs on the client and on the server, so both the server and every player need it. It targets Fabric only, with release builds for 1.19.4, 1.20 and 1.20.1. The latest file is 2.1.0 for 1.20.1, released on 2023-08-07. The code is not open source, and the mod is released under All rights reserved.
