Rotten Apple is a simple Java Agent mod for the early Minecraft version rd-132211, and it adds a video animation to that build. Two release versions exist, rd-132211 and rd-132328, both published as snapshot builds. Installation starts with a fresh rd-132211 instance, and the frames have to be placed in the game folder before the game boots. The environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod, and it is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, making it open source.

this is a simple mod for minecraft version rd-132211 that adds a video animation of bad apple. since rd-132211 doesn't have a mod loader, you need to inject the.jar manually. the easiest way to do this is using a custom minecraft launcher like prism launcher.
