RotpAddon-TheDemon

Installing RotpAddon-TheDemon gives players a Demon Stand, a Stand that uses custom actions built around a demonic theme. The addon is Forge-only and targets Minecraft 1.16.5, and it needs JoJo: Ripples of the Past to run. Because the Stand is an addon to that mod, the base game must be present before the addon will load.

The addon also includes a Fear Strength mechanic that is still in development. Fear-related gameplay covers how fear is gained, decays and grants buffs, and the author describes the balancing of that system as ongoing work. Experiments on the strength mechanic are tracked in the project's commits and branches rather than in a finished release.

The client receives its own effects, including dynamic texture rendering experiments for Stand visuals and a Demon View style visual effect with special rendering behavior. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The code is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is open source, with a public source repository and issue tracker.
