Personal Worlds
by Irgendwer01
Personal Worlds lets each player design a void or flat world, choosing which blocks, biomes and features it contains.
What it does
Players create their own void and flat worlds, with almost every setting open to change. A custom list of allowed blocks and biomes defines what a world can use, and a preset list of standard blocks gives a starting point for flat worlds. Settings also cover the sky color, the day and night cycle, vegetation and tree generation, weather, and whether hostile or passive mobs spawn.
The mod runs on Forge for Minecraft 1.12.2 and needs both the server and every player to have it, since the world settings are applied on both sides. It depends on MixinBooter and ModularUI, and it also requires CodeChickenLib. Files are published for 1.12.2 only, with 1.0.6 as the latest build from 2025-12-03. The code is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, so the source is open and the project has a public issue tracker.

Use cases
Building on a blank canvas
A player who wants a clean space for building can start from a void world and add only the blocks chosen in the allowed list.
Testing with set conditions
A world with fixed weather, mob spawning and day length lets a player check a build under the same conditions each time.
Who it’s for: Players who want to control the content and conditions of their own worlds on Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge. Server owners who want to offer these worlds to players must also install the mod on the server.
