NilFix

by HyperSpeeed

NilFix is a NilLoader patch mod that targets several bugs in Minecraft 1.2.5 and in mods built for that version.

NilLoaderClient and serverThe UnlicenseOpen source1.2.4 – 1.2.5

What it does

Its corrections span several areas: broken update checkers and console debug logs are removed or bypassed, rendering faults on certain Intel graphics drivers are addressed, lighting patches drawn from Lights Out Antifreeze are applied, and statistics and achievements that load or reset wrongly are repaired. It also adds warnings when two entities share the same ID, and a warning shown by Better Dungeons when that mod is not properly installed is silenced. NilLoader applies only the fixes that match mods actually present in the instance, so unrelated patches stay inactive.

NilFix needs NilLoader and is installed alongside it, with NilLoader placed in the usual mods folder or in a dedicated nilmods folder. Client and server both need it, and the mod is published for 1.2.4 and 1.2.5, with 1.0.24 for 1.2.5 as the latest NilLoader file. The code is under The Unlicense, so the project is open source, and the source code and issue tracker are linked publicly.

Can individual fixes be disabled?

Yes. Open the Nil125Fix.cfg file in the config directory of the instance folder and disable the unwanted patches there.
