multiconnect-via-translator
Multiconnect-via-translator is a client-side Fabric and Quilt mod that lets a player connect to servers running a different game version through a ViaVersion-based translator.
What it does
The project hosts the ViaVersion translator that Multiconnect relies on, and Multiconnect fetches this translator on its own, so most players never place the file by hand. Only the client needs it, and servers run without it. Files are published for Fabric and Quilt on 1.19.2 and 1.19.3, with 1.6-beta.26 for 1.19.3 as the latest, released 2023-02-23 under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, which makes it open source.
