MOTCraft Mod
MOTCraft Mod is a NeoForge mod that adds alternative crafting recipes and several new items, credit currencies and diamond compression blocks to the game.
What it does
The mod changes how common items are made. Players can craft wood planks, sticks, slabs, a white bed and a sapling from fewer materials, and the fire-starting recipe uses two sticks. A gallery of recipes is included, and a configuration option turns the changed recipes off.
Several items are added as currency and compressed material. The credit items cover a set of currencies, including Dezicred, Durite, Chromium and Osmiridium, each with a base form, and diamond is compressed into smaller and larger units. Other additions include a lifesteal function, a String Duper, a fletching table screen and potion arrows.
The mod works on both the server and the client, so every player on a server running it needs it too. Its files target 1.21.1 – 1.21.8 for NeoForge, with 1.4.1 for 1.21.8 as the latest release from August 5, 2025. The code is licensed as All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
Key features
Cheaper crafting recipes
Wood, sticks, slabs, a white bed and a sapling can be crafted from fewer base materials than in vanilla.
Credit currency items
Dezicred, Durite, Chromium and Osmiridium add currency items, each with a base form.
Compressed diamond
Diamond is split into a tenth and a half, and compressed into a compressed diamond and a compressed diamond block.
Lifesteal and potion arrows
A lifesteal function restores health from damage dealt, and potion arrows carry potion effects.
Fletching table screen
A graphical interface for the fletching table lets players pick arrow crafting options from one screen.
