More Tide Fish

The five fish come from the Tide mod's deep ocean and are added as catchable creatures. Lantern Fish wears a head item that gives off light. Pufferfish Bomb swells through three stages when startled, and once it reaches the last stage it retracts, then after a period of time it explodes like TNT and destroys blocks underwater. A right-click throws it, and it can also be eaten.

The remaining fish use weapon-like mechanics. Pink Starfish, named after the cartoon character, is thrown like a dart with a right-click. Reaver Shark follows the Terraria idea of a fish that works as a tool, equivalent to a Diamond Pickaxe, and its item takes the form of a pickaxe. Electric Eel takes its design from the whip in Terraria: its hits apply a debuff called conductivity to enemies.

The mod is a NeoForge addon for Minecraft 1.21.1 and needs the Tide mod to supply the deep ocean fish it extends. Both client and server must run it, so players and the server need the same install. Files are for 1.21.1 only, with the latest NeoForge build being 1.1hotfix, published on 2026-08-15 on the beta channel. Source code and an issue tracker are linked publicly, but the project is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
