Lime Origins gives players selectable origins with unusual body traits, from a slime-like body that climbs walls to a fragile human with extended reach.
What it does
Each origin changes how the player's body behaves in the world. Options include an open ender chest view without needing the block, extra reach from a slender body, damage from contact with water, and a translucent green slime-like form that takes double fire damage because it is flammable. Spectral vision lets a player see entities through obstructions, and a ghost-like body is translucent.
Some origins come with costs. The phasing ability causes heavy exhaustion and hunger loss while in use. A bouncy body makes the player bounce, and holding space stops the bouncing. The fragile human origin starts with only seven hearts, which makes it a weaker start than the default.
Lime Origins is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, for Minecraft 1.20.1 only, with the 1.0.1 file dated 2025-06-26 as the latest build on every loader. The mod is released under the MIT License and is not open source. It was first published on 2025-01-12 by 0limepop0.
