Jobs Cobb

by ChewyGlitter_

Jobs Cobb adds a configurable profession system to Cobblemon servers, where players join jobs and earn progress through in-game actions.

FabricClient and serverAll rights reserved1.21.1

What it does

Players choose a job from several professions, among them Miner, Farmer, Fisher, Breeder, Builder, Hunter, Apothecary and Artisan, and gain job experience by taking part in activities like mining, farming, fishing, catching Pokemon, breeding, crafting and placing blocks. Actions are tracked automatically, and levels, tiers, grades, objectives and rewards grow out of that progress. Depositing resources into storage can also complete server objectives.

The mod is configurable from the start. Its default configuration focuses objectives on automated completion through deposits. Costs, rewards and objectives can be adjusted for each server, and the job menus are presented through in-game screens. A vanilla chest menu serves as a fallback for players who lack the client-side mod. Optional support for the Beautify decorative blocks mod is included when that mod is present. Cobblemon Economy support adds join costs, leave costs and rewards.

Jobs Cobb runs on the client and on the server, so both sides need it. It targets Fabric only, with a single version: 1.21.1. The latest Fabric file is 1.2, published on 2026-05-31. The mod was first published on 2026-05-19, and it is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Installation needs Fabric API, which is the only dependency for this build.

Key features

Players join one of several jobs, each with its own activities and progression track.

  2. Automatic action tracking

Many Minecraft and Cobblemon actions are counted toward job progress without any extra input from the player.

  3. Levels, tiers and grades

Job experience raises levels, tiers and grades, each tied to objectives and rewards.

  4. Deposit objectives

Depositing resources or items into storage can complete server objectives and feed the economy.

Server administrators have an admin command set for managing jobs, with player commands alongside.
