ItemPhysic Legacy Unofficial
ItemPhysic Legacy Unofficial changes how thrown items behave on Forge 1.7.10, letting specific items burn in fire or lava and float on chosen fluids.
What it does
Burning and floating are controlled by two item lists in the config. Entries name an item by its id and mod id, and can carry a metadata value, so one damage variant can be set apart from another. An invert option flips a list so that every item not on it burns or floats instead, and a list entry can be limited to a chosen block or fluid.
Fluids are written with their vanilla names for water and lava, while mod fluids use their fluid name without the tile prefix. The config screen has descriptions enabled as an option, and the pickup panel was fixed so it scales to the screen size. The mod needs UniMixins, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Forge 1.3.1 for 1.7.10 is the only file published, dated 2026-01-23.
Key features
Burning item list
A config list sets which thrown items burn in fire or lava, with entries matched by item id, mod id and metadata.
Floating item list
A second list sets which thrown items float on chosen liquids, with water and lava named by their vanilla fluid names.
Invert setting
An invert option makes the listed items the only ones that do not burn or float, reversing the effect of the lists.
Config descriptions
The config screen can show a description for each option, and a fixed pickup panel scales to fit the screen size.
