Hardcore Support is a Fabric client mod that warns players about low hunger and a missing totem in the offhand.
What it does
The mod shows a pop-up notification when hunger drops below a set limit, and another warning when no totem of undying is held in the offhand, for example after a tool is repaired and the totem is left out. It is client-side only, so only the player's game needs it. Files are published for Fabric, for 1.21.8, 1.21.10 and 26.1.2, with 1.1.2 for 26.1.2 as the latest file, and the code is under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
Key features
Low hunger warning
A pop-up appears when food drops below a limit, so the player can eat before health suffers.
Missing totem alert
A notice appears when no totem is in the offhand, including after repairing a tool and forgetting to re-equip it.
Offhand totem check
The offhand is watched for a totem of undying, so the warning clears once one is placed there.

No longer will you have to die, simply because you forgot to re-aquip a totem after repairing a tool, with this mod, a notification will play when a totem is not found in the offhand. Hunger has been added to the mod aswell, a notification will also pop-up if you drop below a set limit.
