Flyspeed raises the flight speed of a player in creative or survival, with a multiplier that runs from 1x to 20x.

What it does

A flight speed multiplier from 1x to 20x is set in the Flyspeed Settings screen, and the boost is switched on with a Hold or Toggle control, or left active permanently. Flight speed returns to normal on its own once the player stops flying, so nothing has to be reset by hand. The HUD shows an indicator while a boost is active.

Survival flight support is turned off by default and needs the ability to fly to be used. Before a survival boost can be enabled, the game shows a safety warning. The Toggle Survival Flight Boost control is unbound by default, while the Flyspeed Settings screen opens on F8, which can be rebound. Flyspeed runs on Fabric, and either side can run it while the other does not need it.

Files are published for Fabric only, across six game versions 1.21.11 – 26.3, with 26.3.1 as the latest file for 26.3. Flyspeed is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and its source code is public. Flyspeed was first published on 2026-02-10 and last updated on 2026-09-30.
