Final Beta

Final Beta targets game version b1.7.3 only, with snapshot builds published alongside the release files. It runs on both client and server, so the server and every player need it. The mod is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is open source, with the source code and issue tracker publicly available.

Its fixes cover chests opening and closing, items breaking, climbing ladders, cobblestone stairs, redstone ore and sugar cane planting sand. Two config options control how boats break, and one setting turns the boat breaking logic off entirely. A config file lets server owners choose which fixes are applied. Minecraft's own sounds are used from the resources folder, so the mod adds none of its own, and furnace minecarts pushing other minecarts is corrected as well.

Time handling is reworked as well. In-game days are calculated from the world's time, and sleeping passes one in-game day as expected. Real-life days are counted separately and stored in the world's level.dat file, which means that if that file is deleted or corrupted, both counters are lost. Real-life days only start counting from the moment the mod was installed.
