Epic Movement changes how the player's character moves, adding dash, wall jump, grapple and rocket jump controls for Fabric on 1.21.4 and 1.21.5.
What it does
The mod adds movement abilities bound to keys: a dash in the facing direction, wall jumps off surfaces, a grapple and a rocket jump. Older boot-based abilities from earlier builds are listed by the author, with iron boots bouncing the wearer and leather boots pushing the wearer toward a wall or floor when used. Epic Movement runs on the client alone, so servers can run without it and players join without changes on their side.
Files are published for Fabric only, across 1.21.4 and 1.21.5. The latest file is 1.1.0 for 1.21.5, released on 2025-05-24, and the mod was first published on 2025-03-08. The code is not open source and is released under All rights reserved.
Key features
Dash and wall jump
A key dashes forward in the direction the player faces, and space performs a wall jump off a nearby wall.
Grapple and rocket jump
Grapple and rocket jump actions add extra mobility on top of standard jumping and falling.
Boot-based movement
Iron boots bounce the wearer when used against a wall or floor, and leather boots propel the wearer toward the surface.
