Elytra Back Slot

The mod needs Accessories or Trinkets installed alongside it, and it detects whichever framework is present at runtime. Once a player equips an Elytra in the cape slot of that accessory interface, the chestplate slot stays free for armor. Flight then follows vanilla behavior: double-tapping space starts gliding, fireworks boost the flight, and durability drops normally while flying. The wings render with the vanilla Elytra model and animation, and the cape texture shows on the back.

Both slots work in parallel, so the chestplate keeps its defense value while the Elytra supplies flight. Vanilla chestplate-Elytra equipment still takes priority, and the cape slot acts as a fallback when no Elytra is in the chest slot. A worn Elytra that reaches zero usable durability stops gliding and stays in the cape slot until it is replaced. The mod needs no config and no commands, and removing it works as usual.

Installation covers Fabric 1.21.1 only, and the mod must be present on both the server and the client. The server validates flight while the client renders the wings, which lets the mod work on multiplayer servers. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source.
