Crash Utilities
by Darkere
Crash Utilities is a Forge server toolkit for finding and fixing common server problems, from ground item piles to memory use.
What it does
The mod gives server administrators commands for diagnosing a running server. One command clears items from the ground once a set number is exceeded, another locates specific tile entities in the world, and a third reports how much RAM the server uses over time. Chunks holding unusually large numbers of entities can be found the same way, which helps track down lag sources.
Other commands handle player management. Players can be sent to spawn, and a crossdimensional teleport command moves them between dimensions. Items can be read from and removed from a player's inventory, with Curio slots supported as well. The description also mentions viewing entity and block entity counts on a map and opening other players' inventories.
The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing anything and only the server needs it. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source. Files are published for Forge, with version 8.1.4 for 1.20.1 as the latest, dated 2024-05-28, and the mod targets 1.20.1 only.
