Bigger Items PvP

by bauerhartmut

Bigger Items PvP lets players resize dropped item entities on the ground, so valuable loot can be told apart from common junk.

ForgeClient-side onlyAll rights reserved1.20.1 – 1.20.6

What it does

In vanilla Minecraft every dropped item is drawn at the same size, which makes rare drops hard to pick out in a crowd. This mod lets each dropped item be scaled, with the size set from 0.01 up to 10 times normal, so players can make important loot stand out visually. Resizing is a visual change only and does not alter what the item is or where it lies.

The mod is client-side only, so only the client needs it and the server does not have to run it. Bigger Items PvP is published for Forge across six game versions, 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, and the code is covered by All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

Key features

  1. Custom item sizes

Each dropped item can be scaled independently, from a tiny fraction of its normal size up to 10 times larger.

  2. Search and save sizes

Pressing H opens a GUI where items can be searched and a custom size saved for each one.

  3. Visual loot sorting

Larger drops show up clearly on the ground, helping players separate valuable loot from common junk.

What the author says

Press the H key (configurable) to open the Item Scale Configuration GUI. The GUI lists every registered item in the game with a search bar to quickly find what you need. Adjust any item's ground scale from 0.01× (barely visible) to 10.0× (huge) using a logarithmic slider for precise control. Changes are saved…
