Rain Bucket
by Zerw
Rain Bucket lets empty buckets be filled with rainwater, so players can collect water without a pump or a source block.
What it does
Standing in the rain, a player right-clicks with an empty bucket to fill it with water. Buckets left on the ground during a rainfall can also pick up water, and an empty bucket thrown into an infinite water source such as an ocean or sea fills automatically. The mod is aimed at survival play and at packs that prefer more immersive, realism-focused water handling.
Rain Bucket runs on client and server, so both sides need it. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 16 release versions, 1.20.1 – 26.2, and the code is under the MIT License, but it is not open source.
