Beta Graphics
by Argis
Beta Graphics brings the visual engine of Minecraft Beta to Forge 1.12.2, with features ported from that older release.
What it does
The mod recreates the graphical engine of Minecraft Beta on Minecraft 1.12.2, reproducing how that older release rendered the world. Its visual features were ported from it and include fog, cloud height, sunset lighting and the skybox. Gamma levels, white lighting, textures, sounds, semi-transparent leaves, 2D items and render distance follow the Beta behavior as well. Only the client needs it, so servers run without it. Beta Graphics is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is open source, with the source code public. Files are published for Forge only, and the latest one is V5 for 1.12.2.
